Proposed Administrative Budget: <br />Salaries and Fringes: $140,585 $137,034 <br />Administrative Expenses: $44,035 $46,847 <br />Subtotal: $184,620 $184,781 <br />• Salaries and fringes differences are due to the decrease in Director's and <br />Financial Programs Administrator's devoted time to Orange Public <br />Transportation and the addition of the Administrative Assistant position <br />being funded 25% of the time. <br />II. Proposed Capital Budget: <br />Replacement Vehicles $276,100 $244,650 <br />FY 2007-2008 North Carolina Department of Transportation approved the <br />purchase of one (1) vehicle at a cost of $87,500. All requested funds for <br />2007-2008 were not approved. <br />FY 2008-2009 Orange Public Transportation requests the replacement of <br />three (3) vehicles that have met the criteria for replacement. These <br />vehicles, two (2) vehicles will be 25 foot (one with 4 wheelchair stations <br />or sixteen seats: one with 2 wheelchair stations or 18 seats), on vehicle <br />will be 28 foot (2 wheelchair stations or 22 seats) will be handicapped <br />equipped, diesel, and have a larger seating capacity. Seating differences: <br />1 additional wheelchair station and 16 additional seats.
