c. Board of Health —Appointments The Board considered making appointments to the Board of Health. A motion was made by Commissioner Pelissier, seconded by Commissioner Price to appoint: • Dr. Susan Elmore, DVM to a second full term (position #1) At-Large Veterinarian for Dr. Susan Elmore, DVM with a term expiring 06/30/2017. • Ms. Esther Earbin to a first full term (position #3) At-Large Citizen/Commissioner Appointment with a term expiring 06/30/17. • Ms. Liska Lackey, RN to a second full term (position #4) At-Large Nurse with a term expiring 06/30/2017. He appreciates this dedication, but he has mentioned this general issue before. Chair Jacobs said this is one of the items for the possible retreat discussion. He said there is some good logic in having a direct link from the ASAB to the Board of Health, as these departments were separated not that long ago. He said this issue can be revisited. Commissioner Pelissier and Commissioner Gordon expressed their support for this particular linkage in service. d. Chapel Hill Oranqe County Visitors Bureau —Appointments The Board considered making appointments to the Chapel Hill Orange County Visitors Bureau. A motion was made by Commissioner Rich, seconded by Commissioner Gordon to appoint: • Annette Stone to a First Full term (Position #15) Economic Development Staff—Town of Carrboro for with a term ending 06/30/2017. • Meg McGurk to a First Full term (Position #15) Chapel Hill Downtown Partnership Staff with a term ending 06/30/2017.
