I earned <br />undergraduate and graduate degrees in science education and a professional degree in <br />pharmacy. I have no particular experience though I am interested in getting involved in local <br />governance as a citizen and helping to shape the policies that affect myself and others. <br />Reasons for wanting to serve on this board: <br />I would like to serve on this board because I feel Orange County is at a crossroads. The <br />surrounding counties have all increased their economic output in the last 5 to 10 years, often <br />with those business developments occurring very close to the county lines. The result of this is <br />jobs and economic development that could have occurred in Orange County are now going <br />elsewhere. The recent success of the Morinaga plant is a positive step, but more needs to be <br />done. Serving on this board would provide me with eperience with the issues surrounding <br />development in the county and allow me to influence it in a positive direction. <br />Conflict of Interest: <br />
