JG <br />Section II -Scope of Work <br />The scope of work will consist of: <br />Phase l -Construction Document Development (55%) <br />1. Conduct one (1) meeting, as necessary, for the defmition of the system layout, <br />i.e. meetings with administrators and officials, meetings with facilities groups <br />and user groups, as directed by management. This will be to determine the <br />operational requirements and the desired locations and expected results of the <br />security systems. <br />2. Develop the system layout package. The package shall present any RMA <br />recommendations for security as well as options for specific security systems <br />andlor components. <br />3. Conduct one meeting with management to review the security system layout and <br />design. <br />4. Research, design and develop the complete drawing package to include, <br />communication diagrams, equipment installation and typical details, and <br />revisions to the system layout. <br />5. Develop and prepare the security system specifications outlining equipment and <br />installation requirements for the system. Maintain coordination of the design <br />concept with management. <br />6. Conduct one meeting with management to review the final Construction <br />Documents. <br />7. Develop Request for Proposal documents for the installation of the security <br />systems that will allow Orange County and the General Contractor to negotiate <br />the contract price with select security vendor. <br />Phase 2 -Contract Negotiations (12%1 <br />8. Conduct aPre-Bid Meeting with qualified security vendors. <br />9. Review and evaluate proposals submitted by the security vendors to determine <br />technical accuracy and fair market value all equipment. <br />O <br />y- <br />O <br />O <br />V <br />I <br />O <br />:~=+ <br />t/~ <br />10. Assist Orange County and the General Contractor in the negotiation process <br />with the security vendors. <br />
