In FY2008-2009, $28,328 will be available to the Health Department to contract with a <br />registered dietician to continue implementation of the established program in an additional 6~ <br />childcare sites. It is anticipated that at the end of two years, funding will return to the current <br />level that covers .85 FTE of personnel costs. <br />FINANCIAL. IMPACT: The funds provide an additional $27,120 to enable the project staff to <br />purchase supplies and equipment for the Child Care Health Consultant programs with Child <br />Care Centers in Orange County. There are no additional County funds being requested. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board approve the receipt of the <br />funds as a supplement to the current grant project. <br />
