North Carolina's EMPG supplemental <br />funding is available to enhance North Car'olina's readiness posture; therefore, you must use this funding <br />for that purpose,. The EMPG supplemental may not go into ,your county's general fund unless it is <br />designated to becorrle a line item for one o#'the identified purposes in this grant agreement.. <br />Homeland Security Presidential Du•ective - 5 requires NIMS compliance to receive federal <br />preparedness assistance funding,. the FY 07 NIlVIS compliance metrics fact sheet states that Tier I metrics <br />must be answered in the affirmative to be NIMS compliant for FY 07.. In addition, you must complete <br />specific tasks below by the designated deadlines in order to be eligible for this EMPG supplemental <br />funding: <br />^ Correct deficiencies in FY 2.007 NIMS Compliance Tier 1 Metrics by January 15, 2008; <br />^ Complete and xnll up the NIMSCAST FY 2007 NIMS Compliance Metrics to show you have <br />corrected deficiencies identified in ,your' Corrective Action Plan by January 22, 2008. An <br />attachment is included in this packet outlining your Corrective Action Plan, if applicable..
