Future (2060) water service areas of the Jordan Lake Partners. <br />Developing the Regional Water Supply Plan <br />The TRWSP has two basic components: 1) identification of regional waters need through 2060, <br />and 2) a plan for meeting those needs. The Triangle Regional Water Supply Plan: Volume l — <br />Water Needs Assessment (May 2, 2012) presented the demand projections and initial estimates <br />of water supply needs for all of the JLP members. The Triangle Regional Water Supply Plan: <br />Volume 11 — Regional Water Supply Alternatives Analysis (Draft, April 18, 2014) presented the <br />methodology used to create and evaluate regional water supply alternatives and the details of <br />the preferred alternative and regional water supply plan. These documents should be <br />consulted for more information. The following information summarizes the regional needs, <br />recommended regional water supply alternative, and proposed Jordan Lake allocations <br />requests. <br />Water Demand Projections and Projected Need <br />Figure 2 illustrates the total regional water demand projections as compared to the current <br />available water supply (horizontal line) of 199 MGD for the thirteen JLP members.
