Volunteer Experience: I have worked in the schools as a volunteer in the classrooms, with Coach Write, on the PTA's and SGC's (now SIT's) for the last 12 years.l also volunteer at my church and work with the Chapel Hill Museum on the Education Committee. Other Comments: I recently attended a meeting of the Chapel Hill-Carrboro PTA Council where Laura Blackmon presented some of the issues surrounding funding of county and school district capital projects.
