SECTION 2-3 PERMITTED USES <br />The various approved land uses acceptable .for development within each individual <br />district, per Section 6.29.3 Economic Development Districts Design Manual -Part Two <br />Performance Standards -Section 2.2 Permitted Uses and the Approved Master Plan, are <br />as follows: <br />1. Residential Dwelling, Multi-family limited to apartments or condominiums <br />within a free standing building or developed over additional land uses, <br />2. Agricultural, Forestry and Fishing: Veterinarian services excluding <br />boarding facilities <br />3. Manufacturing, Assembly, and Processing: <br />a. Bakery, <br />b. Miscellaneous food preparation (i.e: coffee roasting, confectionary <br />products, etc), <br />c. Watches and clock, <br />d. Jewelry and silverware, <br />e. Musicallnstruments, <br />4. Transportation, Communications, and Utilities: <br />a. RaiUBus passenger shelter, <br />b. Surface and structure parking as principal use when associated with a <br />local or regional transportation goal (i.e. mass transit or park-and-ride <br />lots) <br />c. Public utility stations and sub-stations, switching stations, and <br />telephone exchanges, <br />d. Water and sanitary sewer pumping stations <br />5. Retail Trade: <br />a. Restaurants (carry-out and general) when located within a stand alone <br />building, court or plaza, or an single building with multiple tenants, <br />b. Retail Trade, sales and rental. of durable and convenience goods, <br />merchandise, ad equipment when located within a stand alone <br />building, court or plaza, or an single building with multiple tenants. <br />6. Finance, Insurance, and Real Estate: <br />a. Banks, savings and loans, and credit unions, <br />b. Security and commodity brokers and investment offices, <br />. c. Insurance carriers and agents, <br />d. Real estate agents and. brokers, <br />5 <br />
