e. One (1) parking- space for every three hundred (300) of floor area within a <br />Government facility. <br />f. One (1) space per every room in a hotel plus one (1) per shift employee <br />g. All parking lot spaces, unless other wise designated, shall be: Nine (9) feet by <br />Eighteen (18) feet. <br />18. Required parking spaces may be reduced by thirty percent (30%) within a given District <br />or other development area if the developer adheres to the following: <br />a. The spaces allotted for each individual use shall be shown on the application for a <br />Zoning Compliance Permit, <br />b. The distance from the farthest allotted space to the main entrance of a structure <br />housing the use that it is intended to serve not to be more than four hundred (400) <br />feet, <br />c. The spaces shall be located within the same District or within four hundred (400) <br />.feet of the proposed use to qualify for a reduction on the required parking, <br />d. Twenty percent (20%) Inay be compact car parking with a dimension of seven <br />and a half (7 %2) feet in width and sixteen (16) feet in depth. <br />19. All required parking spaces shall be improved with asphalt, concrete or other similar <br />material as approved by the County, <br />20. Handicapped parking shall be provided in accordance with the standards of the State of <br />North Carolina Building Code. <br />21. All parties involved with this project shall sign a Memorandum of Agreement regarding <br />transit service. The Agreement shall describe how the bus transit service shall be <br />provided such that all building entrances are within one-quarter (1/4) mile of a transit <br />stop. Further, service shall be phased such that it shall be provided prior to issuance of the <br />last certificate of occupancy for each development phase. Each transit stop shall have a <br />covered and at least partially enclosed transit shelters with lcioslcs and illuminated to five <br />(5) average maintained footcandles. Information at each kiosk shall detail local transit <br />information including basic schedule and route information, <br />22. Each building or groups of buildings requiring individual building permits shall provide <br />bicycle parking spaces or storage for at least ten percent (10%) of the parking space <br />capacity, <br />23. All lease agreement, or individual sales documents, for future tenants shall include <br />provisions requiring the installation and maintenance of bicycle racks or other similar <br />secure location for the storage of bicycles within the development. <br />24. Parking areas within the project maybe designated as park and ride lots. <br />37 <br />
