Which has a smaller carbon footprint - a parking deck or a parking lot - <br />both with the same amount of spaces? <br />Response: We do not know the answer to this question. We do not have <br />access to any approved methodology that quantifies "carbon footprint." <br />8. Why have the parking decks been eliminated from the plan? <br />5 <br />Response: Parking decks are still envisioned as feasible around hotel sites <br />and in District 2. They have not been eliminated from the plan. <br />9. Does public transportation currently serve this area? If not, will it and how <br />would that be paid? . <br />Response: Currently there is no public transportation serving the <br />Buckhorn Road area. The plan provides bus stops, bike lanes and <br />pedestrian pathways on-site to integrate with future mass transit service. <br />10. If the secondary roads are not improved, now to accommodate future <br />traffic (or the anticipated traffic at buildout) who pays to make the road <br />improvements to handle the extra capacity? <br />Response: Proposed road improvements are in accordance with the <br />Traffic Impact Analysis. <br />11. For comparison; what are the number of daily trips to Heritage Square <br />(Hillsborough), Patterson Place (Durham) and Alamance Crossing (E[on)? <br />Response: County to respond <br />12.
