Is the Buckhorn Amoco, which has some environmental issues <br />(contarninatiQns due to .underground ftael tanks?) listed as a superfund <br />site? Has indemnifications by the gas station's owners been received, <br />if available? What does Buckhorn Road hope to offer in retail that is not already ; C <br />present down the road? <br />2. What unique retail is envisioned that does not already exist along the <br />I-40 /1-85 corridor? <br />I'd like to see a 30-mile radius impact of the area. <br />Density/rooftops <br />Response: Buckhorn Village goal is to attract new types of retail that does <br />not exist in other retail areas along this corridor. The large anchor tenant is <br />envisioned to be a destination retailer. A destination retailer would attract <br />hotels and entertainment businesses, such as theaters.
