Gordon Battle <br />Courtroom in Hillsborough, N.C. <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Chair Barry Jacobs and Commissioners Moses <br />Carey, Jr., Valerie Foushee, Alice M. Gordon, and Mike Nelson <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ABSENT: <br />COUNTY ATTORNEY PRESENT:. Geof Gledhill and Brian Ferrell <br />COUNTY STAFF PRESENT:. Assistant County Manager Willie Best, and Clerk to the <br />Board Donna S. OPENING REMARKS. FROM THE CHAIR <br />Chair Jacobs reminded the public to keep their comments to three minutes. <br />B. PUBLIC CHARGE <br />The Chair dispensed with the reading of the public charge. <br />C. PUBLIC HEARING ITEMS <br />1. Buckhorn Village Planned Development: Request by Buckhorn Road Associates to <br />rezone approximately 130 acres along Buckhorn Road from I-85/Buckhorn Road <br />Economic Development District (EDD) to Buckhorn Village Planned Development EDD. <br />Planning Director Craig Benedict said that since this is both a legislative and quasi- <br />judicial hearing on these two items, the first part of the meeting will require that all people giving <br />testimony or credible evidence be sworn in. The Clerk swore in these individuals as a group. <br />Craig Benedict and Michael Harvey made a PowerPoint presentation.
