2 <br />• Town staff is authorized to approve plans and issue permits in accordance with this SUP <br />— no further approvals needed from Town Council; <br />• Prior to any construction, the Chapel Hill Community Design Commission needs to <br />approve building elevations, site lighting, and the location /screening of HVAC equipment; <br />• Orange County must provide a progress update to the Town Council every five years (the <br />first update will be scheduled during the fall of 2019); and <br />• The Traffic Impact Analysis will need to be updated in 2020 and 2030. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: None for this recommended action. The Board appropriated $300,000 <br />within the Capital Investment Plan for this process. Expenses for this process amount to <br />$275,212.36. This amount includes $115,912.36 in fees paid to Chapel Hill for the SUP process <br />and the related Traffic Impact Analysis, and $159,300 in professional services fees paid to <br />Clarion Associates and its sub - consultants. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends the Board authorize the Chair to execute <br />the Special Use Permit governing the Southern Orange County Government Services Campus <br />issued by the Town of Chapel Hill. <br />
