24 <br />• Require the imposition of sanctions or remedial measures, <br />including termination, for an employee convicted of a drug <br />abuse violation in the workplace. <br />Contractors will be required to give an assurance that, (a) a <br />continuing good -faith effort will be made to comply with all of <br />the requirements as set forth in the Drug -Free Workplace Act and <br />(b) the Local Workforce Area will be notified within ten days <br />after receiving notice that a covered employee has been convicted <br />of a criminal drug violation in the workplace. <br />Local Workforce Area Contract Agreement Page 23 of 29 <br />Amended 7/14 <br />
