What we have is an insufficient .explanation of both the <br />Comment One (1) overall purpose and intent of the `project' is as well as what is exactly <br />being requested through the submittal of the application. <br />Staff also believes that we need a more in-depth explanation of what is <br />actually being requested. <br />Staff suggests that the existing introduction section be re-written and <br />broken dawn into two (2) subsections: REQUEST and PROJECT <br />INTRODUCTION. <br />The REQUEST SECTION should read something like this:. <br />` The applicant, Buckhorn Road Associates LCC has submitted this <br />application requesting the rezoning of several parcels along Buckhorn <br />Road from: <br />I-85/Buckhorn Road Economic Development (ED) District to <br />Buckhorn Village Planned Development Economic Development <br />District (BVPD-ED). <br />The properties that are subject to the request for rezoning are <br />bordered by I-85 to the north, Buckhorn Road to the west, and West <br />Ten Road to the south: The properties in question total approximately <br />one hundred thirty (130) acres in land area, are located within .the I- <br />85/Buckhorn Road Economic Development District, and are located <br />within the Orange County's Comprehensive Plan urbarZ transition <br />land use area. <br />As part of this rezoning request, the Applicant has submitted, in <br />accordance with the pravisians of Article Seven (7) and Article Eight <br />(8) of the Orange County Zoning Ordinance, a request to review a <br />nronosed Planned Development /Special Use Permit (PD/SUP) <br />
