The applicant shall provide both internal and external space <br /> for collection of solid waste and recyclables. Materials <br /> collected shall be at least equivalent to the services provided <br /> by Orange County Solid Waste. <br /> 2. Waste collection areas should be located in such. a manner <br /> as to provide convenient access for users of the facility and <br /> safe passage for service vehicles. <br /> 3. We recommend the following notes be included on the plans <br /> prior to issuance of a Zoning Compliance Permit: "1. Any <br /> gate design will include gate retainers. 2. The user will be <br /> responsible for opening ,gates to the dumpster area on <br /> collection days of any material(s) to be collected from this <br /> location." <br /> 4. We recommend the following note be included on the plans <br /> prior to issuance of a Zoning Compliance Permit: "If any <br /> vehicles are parked in the refuse or recyclables collection <br /> vehicle access area, the containers will not receive service <br /> until the next scheduled collection day." <br /> 5. We recommend the collection vehicle access route to any <br /> area containing recyclable material collection containers be <br /> paved with all-weather, heavy-duty pavement OR the <br /> following note be included on the plans and recorded on the <br /> plat: "Orange County will Inot be responsible for any <br /> pavement damage that may result from service vehicles." <br /> 6. Should waste collection areas be located across property <br /> lines for shared areas: We recommend that a joint access <br /> agreement (and a shared dumpster agreement) be <br /> developed for the adjacent two property owners to assure <br /> that (both parties may use) the proposed trash/recycling <br /> area and that it can be serviced across property lines. We <br /> recommend .that this writien. agreement, allowing. refuse <br /> collection services to be shared across property lines, be <br /> approved and recorded at the Register of Deeds Office prior <br /> to recordation of the Special Use Permit Modification <br /> document/ Zoning Compliance permit <br /> RESOLUTION: COMN.IENTS: <br /> <br />PAGE/SECTION REFERENCE: (, - COM[IVIENTS: ~ <br />Food/Grease: We recommend that the applicant reserve space for segregated <br />grease rendering/recycling collection and consider providing <br />space for segregated food waste collection near the delivery <br />entrance for any building which currently houses, proposes to <br />3 <br />
