9 <br /> • <br /> Plat Checklist, Page 2 <br /> 19) Location of all utilities , R/W, watercourses , easements , <br /> roadways , housing setbacks (not req ' d) <br /> Surveyor Certification <br /> Certificate must contain each of the following: <br /> 1) Name of person under whose supervision the survey took <br /> place or the plat was made <br /> 2) Deed descriptions (Book , Page ) • <br /> 3) Ratio of precision <br /> 4) ' Clear indication of all unsurveyed lines and the source of <br /> such information (deed book, etc . ) <br /> 5) Seal & signature (incl. registration number) , fully <br /> notarized <br /> Survey Classification <br /> The survey must be classified as one of the following: <br /> a) The survey creates a subdivision of land within the area <br /> of a county or municipality that has an ordinance that <br /> regulates parcels of land. <br /> b) The survey is located in such portion of a county or <br /> municipality that it is unregulated as to an ordinance <br /> that regulates parcels of land. <br /> c) The Survey is of an existing parcel or parcels of land. <br /> d) The survey is of another category, such as the <br /> recombination of existing parcels , a court-ordered survey, <br /> or other exception to the definition of subdivision. <br /> e) The information available to the surveyor is such that the <br /> surveyor is unable to make a determination to the best of <br /> his or her professional ability as to provisions contained <br /> in (a) through (d) above. <br /> If the plat falls under a. , d. , or e. , then in addition to the <br /> surveyorertificate the plat shall require certification of <br /> approval (iiiirno approval req' d) as required by local ordinance <br /> from the 40opriate government authority before the plat can be <br /> presented for recordation. <br /> • <br /> Revised 03 Sep 93 <br /> Developed from G.
