ATTACHMENT 5 ~~ <br />Animal Services Facility <br />Capital Project Ordinance <br />Be it ordained by the Orange County Board of County Commissioners that pursuant to Section <br />13.2 of Chapter 159 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, the following capital project is <br />hereby adopted. <br />Section 1. The project authorized provides funds for site acquisition and construction of a <br />new facility which will include the Animal Shelter, the Animal Control offices, and <br />offices for the Animal Services Director. Proceeds from two-thirds net debt <br />reduction bonds and alternative financing will finance this project. <br />Section 2. This ordinance supersedes previous Animal Services Facility Capital Project <br />Ordinances for Orange County Government. <br />Section 6. This ordinance shall remain in effect until June 30, 2009. <br />Adopted this 24th day of June 2008. <br />
