2 <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no direct financial impact to the County associated with this item. <br />NCDOT will incur additional maintenance responsibilities and costs. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board forward the Petition for <br />Addition to the State Maintained system for New Hope Springs Drive, Hope Valley Drive and Valley <br />Creek Drive to the NCDOT with a recommendation that the Board of Transportation accept those <br />roads for maintenance. <br />
