The ASAB indicated that it was recommending Dr. Hoffman because of her extensive involvement
with animal welfare. Most recently, Dr. Hoffman has shown strong interest in the work the ASAB is doing
on free - roaming cats as part of the county's strategic plan for managing pet overpopulation. Her prior
involvement includes her participation in area rescue organizations for both felines and equines.
The ASAB asked me to indicate that board is continuing to try to diversify itself to better reflect the
community at large.
Please let me know if additional information is needed.
Regards,
Bob Marotto
Director
Orange County Animal Services
(919) 968 -2287
Check us out online or on facebookl
web: www.oran ecount nc. ov animalservices
facebook: www.facebook.com/0CASoe
to applicable North Carolina General Statutes, any electronic mail message sent from this account or received
by this account, and any attachments thereto, may be considered a public record; and as such they are subject to
inspection by anyone at anytime.
