Creation of a data base of all parent education services provided by collaboratig agencies <br /> 2. Development of continuium of services identifying gaps and duplications <br /> 3. Design and Implementation of services to fill identified gaps <br /> 4. Participate as collaborators in training for collaboration, cultural diversity and sensitivity <br /> B. To increase input from families within the community into the design and method of the <br /> parent education service delivery system <br /> 1. Formation of permanent Advisory Board made up of parents and agency collaborators <br /> 2. Feedback from parent representatives on Advisory Board, from parent/consumers from <br /> agencies, and from the Orange County Parent Education needs assessment <br /> 3. Development of a feedback system from specific programs regarding effectiveness and <br /> content of program <br /> C. To streamline the provision of parent education and support services by reducing the <br /> duplication of those services across county organizations <br /> 1. Identify duplications in service provision across agencies <br /> 2. Develop collaborative solutions to eliminate identified duplication, ie reassigning and <br /> realigning service components <br /> 3. Creation of a new continuium of services which identifies gaps and eliminates duplication <br /> D. To increase consumer satisfaction with parent education and support services <br /> 1. Involve parents in program development at Advisory Board and service delivery level <br /> 2. Survey parents pre and post participation in programs <br /> 3. Incorporate parent feedback in ongoing evaluation of programming <br /> E. To increase collective resources and networking among providers of similar services, thereby <br /> reducing isolation <br /> 1. Identify duplications in service provision across agencies <br /> 2. Develop collaborative solutions to eliminate identified duplication, ie reassigning and <br /> realigning service components <br /> 3. Creation of a new continuum of services which identifies gaps and eliminates duplication <br /> 4. Provision of individual and programmatic support system for individual providers to <br /> reduce isolation <br />
