zo <br /> APPENDIX NUMBER FIVE: JOB DESCRIPTIONS <br /> ACCOUNTING CLERK(DSS): <br /> This position is responsible for conducting/monitoring <br /> project financial activities. <br /> • Develop and mainxain project accounting systems <br /> • Provide/arrange for any fiscal training needed by contracting agency <br /> • Oversee contractor's bookeeping practices to assure compliance with funding regulations <br /> • Participate in required audits <br /> • Prepare required financial reports <br /> • Participate in periodic budget reviews <br /> • Prepare any needed budget amendments <br /> PROJECT COORDINATOR(BEARTIT): <br /> This position is responsible for administrative <br /> supervision of the project. <br /> • Supervise project staff <br /> • Assist/support Program Director in implementing service components at communi ty s i t <br /> es <br /> • Negotiate "Working Agreements"/contracts for needed services(transportation, child care) <br /> • Coordinate activity of the Advisory board <br /> • Conduct program presentations <br /> • Recruit, train and supervise 'Warm line"volunteers <br /> • Supervise Warm line <br /> • Provide/arrange in-service training for staff,volunteers and Advisory Board <br /> • Conduct program evaluations and revise strategies as needed to achieve established goals <br /> • Develop and implement a fund-raising plan for ongoing operation <br /> PROGRAM DIRECTOR(BEARTIT): <br /> This position provides direct client services and is the liason <br /> between project participants and other service providers. <br /> • Provide community-based parent education services to groups and individuals <br /> • Conduct pre and post assessment of participants' parenting skills <br /> • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of community services for families and children <br /> • Provide participant referrals to appropriate community services <br /> • Monitor participant involvement with other service providers <br /> • Conduct/arrange for participant celebration events <br /> • Facilitate the development and operation of parent support groups <br /> • Identify gaps in services and resources and advocate for new services and resources <br /> • Participate in regular program evaluations <br /> • Take an active role in efforts to strengthen and expand network of Partner agencies <br />
