A <br /> I <br /> 5 <br /> the powers and authority necessary to function as a deferral agency <br /> including those enumerated in G.S. S7A-759 . <br /> (4) In accordance with the functions and duties <br /> enumerated in G.S. S143B-391, the North Carolina Human Relations <br /> Commission is designated to serve as the Commission's deferral <br /> agency for cases deferred by the Commission to the North Carolina <br /> Human Relations Commission as provided in subsection (g) (2) of this <br /> section and as such shall have all of the powers and authority <br /> necessary to function as a deferral agency. <br /> (5) The Chief Administrative Law Judge for the Office of <br /> Administrative Hearings and the Executive Director of the North <br /> Carolina Human Relations Commission for the North Carolina Human <br /> Relations Commission are authorized to contract with Orange County <br /> to serve as deferral agencies. The Civil Rights Division in the <br /> Office of Administrative Hearings may carry out the functions of a <br /> deferral agency for the Office of Administrative Hearings. " <br />
