Association of County Commissioners has indicated it would be responsible for project <br /> oversight.Specifically,on January 24, 1995,the Association Board of Directors authorized its staff <br /> to act as grantees for the project. Because of the multi jurisdictional nature of the project, <br /> coordinators are also proposed from each county as well as the APES office. An additional <br /> coordinator from the State Historic Preservation Office could also be designated. <br /> • The Association of County Commissioners has expressed interest in having a session at its annual <br /> convention at which the consultant and representatives from the three pilot counties and the State <br /> agencies would present the study.Similar arrangements could be made in association with historic <br /> preservation and planning conferences.
