Orange County Library 2 - c <br /> 4. When the Orange County Library became a County department, $41,936 was appropriated from the <br /> Hyconeechee Regional Library Fund for automation of the present library materials circulation system. <br /> These monies were originally allocated to the Library's fiscal year 1994-95 General Fund budget; <br /> however, it is unlikely that this automation will occur prior to June 30, 1995. Therefore,this technical <br /> amendment(block#4, page 3)reflects the transfer of these funds from the General Fund to the Library <br /> Automation Capital Project(page 5 of this amendment). <br /> Sheriffs Department <br /> 5. On August 23, 1994,the Board of County Commissioners approved a grant project ordinance for the <br /> Crisis Intervention Team. The approved ordinance included$59,756 in grant funds from the North <br /> Carolina Department of Crime Control and Public Safety and$20,915 in County match. However,the <br /> actual grant amount for fiscal year 1994-95 is$38,841 (the local match remains the same). This <br /> technical amendment revises the Crisis Intervention Team Grant Project Ordinance(page 6 of this <br /> amendment)to reflect the actual grant amount. <br /> Recommendation <br /> The Manager recommends that the Board approve the attached budget ordinance amendment, grant project <br /> ordinance and capital project ordinance. <br />
