He said this is why fund balance is so <br /> critical. He said the current unassigned fund balance is approximately $36.7 million. <br /> Clarence Grier said the Orange County budget in the past 6 fiscal years has increased <br /> approximately $18 million, growing from $177.6 million in 2009-10 to $195.6 million for the <br /> current year. He said this is reflective of the recovery of the economy. <br />
