Approval of Public Safety 9-1-1 Center Improvements and Budget Amendment#9-B <br /> 18 The Board approved Budget Amendment#9-B to utilize funds from the Emergency <br /> 19 Telephone Fund to upgrade equipment; provide Computer Aided Dispatch licenses for <br /> 20 response stakeholders; implement a preventive maintenance program; and implement a <br /> 21 robust sanitation program to minimize the spread of communicable disease within the 9-1-1 <br /> 22 Center and authorized the Manager to sign. <br /> 23 h. Authorization and Issuance of Up to $15,500,000 General Obligation Refunding Bonds <br /> 24 The Board approved a resolution and bond order authorizing the issuance of general <br /> 25 obligation refunding bonds in the maximum amount of$15,500,000 to refinance existing <br /> 26 County bonds. <br /> 27 i. Resolution of Approval —Conservation Easement for Jason and Rebecca Davis and <br /> 28 Approval of Budget Amendment #9-C <br /> 29 The Board adopted a resolution, which is incorporated by reference, to approve the <br /> 30 acceptance by Orange County of a conservation easement to protect a portion of a property <br /> 31 owned by Jason and Rebecca Davis; and to approve Budget Amendment#9-C and <br /> 32 authorized the Chair to sign, subject to final review by staff and the County Attorney. <br /> 33 j. Resolution of Approval —Amendment to the Shy Conservation Easement <br /> 38 The Board adopted a resolution, which is incorporated by reference, to approve an <br /> 39 amendment to a conservation easement held by Orange County for property owned by Carl <br /> 40 and Eve Shy and authorized the Chair to sign. <br /> 41 I. Comprehensive Plan and Unified Development Ordinance Outline and Schedule for <br /> 42 Upcoming Item — UDO Text Amendment Related to Neighborhood Information <br /> 43 Meetings for Special Use Permit Applications <br /> 44 The Board approved the process components and schedule for a Planning Director initiated <br /> 45 item for amendments to the Unified Development Ordinance recommended for hearing at <br /> 46 the September 8, 2014 Quarterly Public Hearing. <br /> 47 m. Legal Advertisement for Quarterly Public Hearing —September 8, 2014 <br /> 48 The Board approved the (amended) legal advertisement for items to be presented at the <br /> 49 joint Board of County Commissioners/Planning Board Quarterly Public Hearing scheduled <br /> 50 for September 8, 2014. <br />
