40 <br /> 1 expects that when Chapel Hill Transit comes up with its local services out of the sales tax, the <br /> 2 Board will get to know about it. <br /> 3 Commissioner Gordon said the next DCHC MPO Transportation Advisory Committee <br /> 4 meeting will be held on June 11, and work will be continued on project prioritization and <br /> 5 assigning of points. She said the Durham/Chapel Hill Work Group will be meeting on that same <br /> 6 day. <br /> 7 Commissioner Pelissier clarified that the routes she mentioned above already exist, but <br /> 8 Saturday night and Sunday service is being added. <br /> 9 Commissioner Price said she attended assembly day for NCACC, and one of the major <br /> 10 thrusts is the funding for schools. <br /> 11 She referred to the earlier discussion about appointments and said she feels it is the <br /> 12 responsibility of the Commissioners to keep these boards full and to look at diversity on the <br /> 13 boards. <br /> 14 Chair Jacobs noted the employee appreciation luncheon being held on Friday. <br /> 15 He said Preservation Chapel Hill, The Alliance for Historic Hillsborough, and the Orange <br /> 16 County Historic Preservation Commission, with the assistance of the Visitors Bureau, hosted a <br /> 17 symposium for two days about local history.
