PUBLIC CHARGE <br />The Board of Commissioners pledges to the residents of Orange County its respect. <br />The Board asks its residents to conduct themselves in a respectful, courteous manner, <br />both with the Board and with fellow residents. At any time should any member of the <br />Board or any resident fail to observe this public charge, the Chair will ask the offending <br />member to leave the meeting until that individual regains personal control. Should <br />decorum fail to be restored, the Chair will recess the meeting until such time that a <br />genuine commitment to this public charge is observed. All electronic devices such as <br />cell phones, pagers, and computers should please be turned off or set to silent/vibrate. <br />C. PUBLIC HEARING ITEMS <br />1. 2030 Comprehensive Plan and Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) Text <br />Amendments and Zoning Atlas Amendments - To review government- initiated <br />amendments to the text of the Comprehensive Plan and UDO and to the Zoning <br />Atlas to establish two new zoning overlay districts in the Efland area. <br />2. 2030 Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use Map Amendment - To review <br />government- initiated amendments to the Future Land Use Map of the <br />Comprehensive Plan to assign County land use classifications to approximately 500 <br />acres of property that are to be removed from the Town of Hillsborough <br />Extraterritorial Jurisdiction (ETJ) located generally near the Eno River between US <br />70 W and 1- 85/1 -40 in Cheeks and Hillsborough Townships. <br />3. Zoning Atlas Amendment - To review government- initiated amendments to the <br />Zoning Atlas to assign County zoning districts to approximately 500 acres of <br />property that are to be removed from the Town of Hillsborough Extraterritorial <br />Jurisdiction (ETJ) located generally near the Eno River between US 70 W and 1- <br />85/1-40 in Cheeks and Hillsborough Townships. <br />
