2 y <br /> Visitors'Bureau <br /> 3. At the February 21, 1995 meeting,the Board of Commissioners approved a budget amendment to accept <br /> funds from the Town of Chapel Hill for the Visitors' Bureau operations. The action appropriated <br /> additional fund balance to support the Bureau's programs. This technical budget amendment adjusts the <br /> fund balance appropriation to reflect the occupancy tax revenue received during the 1994-95 fiscal year. <br /> School Capital Projects <br /> 4. In June 1994, the County sold the remaining$30 million in bonds for school construction of the $52 <br /> million authorized by the voters in November 1992. The attached school capital project ordinances for <br /> the New Chapel Hill High School,the new Orange County Stanback Middle School and the Technology <br /> Plan for the Orange County Schools reflect the proceeds of this bond sale in accordance with the <br /> approved capital plan. <br /> 5. On page 9 of this abstract is a technical amendment, adjusting the Recurring Capital Project Ordinance <br /> for the Chapel Hill/Carrboro City Schools to reflect the project amount as approved by the Board of <br /> Commissioners in the adopted Capital Improvements Plan. <br /> Recommendation <br /> The Manager recommends that the Board approve the attached budget ordinance amendment, project ordinance <br /> and capital project ordinances. <br />
