This is a fitting <br /> opportunity to acknowledge the contributions women have made to <br /> our community, state and nation. This year marks the 75th <br /> anniversary of women gaining the right to vote in the U.S . , so it <br /> is especially timely to recognize and celebrate the achievements <br /> of Orange County women. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S) : The Manager recommends that the Board of <br /> Commissioners proclaim March, 1995 , as Women' s History Month. <br />
