40
create a subdivision that is an outstanding
example of what they would like to have in this
community. He stated that they are a family of
integrity and responsibility and would not do
anything to harm the community. He continued
that the homes in the subdivision would be
$200,000 to $225,000 including the cost of the
lots. Nice landscaping and restrictive covenants
will be a part of the subdivision.
In response to the boundary line dispute with Mr.
Barbour, Mr. Roberts indicated he has been in
communication with Mr. Barbour' s family and they
are sincerely trying to settle the issue. Mr. Roberts responded that has not been
determined. When that decision is made and the
property marketed, it will be publicized.
Waddell reminded the citizens that the cost of
the lots is not a decision factor for the
Planning Board.
Laura Baldwin asked why there is not a proposal
for the joining of Lawrence Road with Baldwin
Road with the developer assuming the costs. She
felt this would be a more simple solution than
having Mr. Roberts provide a sixty-foot right-of-
way.
