She expressed the <br /> concern that the right of way on Baldwin Road <br /> would come within 15 feet of the Baldwin house, a <br /> historical landmark of Orange County that was <br /> built by Captain John Berry over 150 years ago. <br /> She noted also that it is under consideration by <br /> The National Register of Historic Places. <br /> Ms. Baldwin continued expressing concern that the <br /> minimum lot sizes are not conducive with the <br /> current setting of the area. She noted that <br /> there seemed to be considerable "hop scotch" <br /> development occurring along St. Mary' s Road and <br /> felt the impacts of increased traffic is an issue <br /> that should be addressed. <br /> Ms. Baldwin stated that she does respect the <br /> rights of others to develop their property but <br /> she felt she should have some say in how the <br /> development appears and how it affects her <br /> property and its historic designation.
