Final adoption of the Technical and Comrnunity- <br />Specific Criteria -with any desired modifications - on June 16 or June 24 are essential to <br />moving the overall process forward in a conscientious and expeditious manner. <br />FiNANCI~-L IN1iP~4C1': <br />There is no direct financial impact associated with the BOCC discussion and formal adoption of <br />final Technical or Community-Specific Criteria to apply in the identification and evaluation of <br />potential Transfer Station .sites within. Orange County. There will likely be substantial costs to <br />the County (Solid Waste Enterprise Fund) in the overall design and development of the <br />proposed site and the permitting and construction of the actual facility and any ancillary <br />features. <br />B2ECONIMEN®~-TIOiN(S): <br />The Manager recommends that the Board review and discuss the presentation and background <br />reports/documentation from Olver, Inc. on the Preliminary Technical and Community-Specific <br />Criteria, receive public comment and input, and adopt Final Technical and Community-Specific <br />incorporating any modifications as may be necessary or desired. <br />
