In November, 1994, the Board of <br /> Commissioners and the Hillsborough Town Board <br /> agreed to prepare a small area plan for the area <br /> defined generally by the Stoney Creek drainage <br /> basin. <br /> A recommended land use plan and ordinances for its <br /> implementation will be developed by a Stoney Creek <br /> Basin Planning Group made up of public officials <br /> and private citizens with interests in the area. <br /> A public meeting hosted by Commissioners Willhoit <br /> and Halkiotis and facilitated by County staff was <br /> held at New Hope Elementary School on the evening <br /> of January 24, 1995. The purpose of the meeting <br /> was to receive comments and suggestions from <br /> Stoney Creek basin residents and property owners <br /> on the composition of the planning group. The <br /> meeting was well attended and most neighborhoods <br /> were represented. The following proposal was <br /> presented for comment: <br />
