Ef lend end R. 0. Forrest, <br />Commnissioners. <br />~_i Unon motion of Commissioner Forrest, end seconded by Commis sinner <br />Eflenrl, the following resolution vres unanimous lg adopted: <br />:There es, the Board of Commissioners of Orange County at a meeting <br />held on the 9th day of July, 1951 passed a resolution c¢lling for a <br />public he ering on the 23rd day of July, 1951 at the Courthouse 1n <br />- Hillsboro, Horth. Caroline, et 10:00 o'clock a.m., for the purpoee of <br />determining whether or not the said Bpand should adopt e resolution <br />providing for rent decontrol within the unincorporated areas of Orange <br />County: and erne ra es, notice of the time and place of said hearing eras <br />nubli shod in the Nerrs of Orange County once a week for two successive <br />weeks, and was published in The Chapel Hill t7e ekly in its issue of July <br />13, 19$1, both of said nevrsnanars being published in Orange County; end <br />where es, said public hearing was called as provided by Bald res olutlon <br />and notice; and whereas, the BAerd of Commissioners, after said hearing, <br />is of the opinion that due to present housing conditions Federal rent <br />control regale ti ons ere no longer necessary in Orange County: <br />P70W HE 1T RESOLVED by the B and of Commissioners of Orange County, <br />that the Federal rent control within the unincorporated ¢re as of Orange <br />County be,and the same shell be, terminated as of August 31, 1951, end <br />that this resolution shall bs in full force and effect on end after <br />September 1, 1951, subject to tho zpnroval of the prover Pe deral housing <br />authority. Length of Road 0.25 miles. <br />Upon motion of Comaissionen Forrest, seconded by Comni ssioner EP_and <br />payment of Lirs. Lois H.
