During this time they have each <br /> chaired or served on numerous committees . In particular, <br /> Lynette Jeffries and Miriam Slifkin have worked for the <br /> development and passage of the recently approved Orange <br /> County civil rights ordinance. These resolutions are being <br /> presented to show appreciation for their leadership, service <br /> and support for the Human Relations Commission; and their <br /> efforts on behalf of improving human relations in Orange <br /> County. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S) : The Manager recommends that the Board <br /> approve the resolutions and present them to both recipients. <br />
