This statement is required to indicate that the proposed rezoning request is or is not consistent with ~- <br />anadopted comprehensive plan or other similar documents. This statement must also explain why <br />the Planning Board believes that the action taken is reasonable and in the public interest. <br />In using staff's recommendation as an example, the Planning Board would vote on a motion <br />approving the rezoning request making similar findings ,and conclusions. A vote recommending <br />denial will also have to outline similar. findings and conclusions justifying the rejection of the <br />application, outlining why the denial is reasonable, and in the public interest. <br />r <br />12 <br />
