e. Counsel the trainee if and when the trainee's performance is not <br /> acceptable to the Agency. <br /> f. Give assistance (as requested) to the Agency in designing work <br /> experiences for the trainee. <br /> g. Disburse the stipend to the trainee on a monthly basis as provided <br /> in Attachment A (Budget) . <br /> 4. TERMINATION <br /> The term of this Agreement is for a period of thirty-nine weeks, <br /> commencing on the first day of August, 2014 and terminating on the twelfth day of April, <br /> 2015. Any renewal of this agreement shall be effected by written agreement signed by the <br /> official representatives of the parties. Either party may terminate this Agreement upon <br /> the giving of thirty (30) days notice. In the event of early termination, any unexpended <br /> stipend funds will be refunded to the Agency. <br /> 5. MODIFICATIONS <br /> The parties agree to the full and complete performance of the mutual <br /> covenants contained herein and that this Agreement constitutes the sole, full and complete <br /> agreement by and between the parties; and no amendments, changes, additions, deletions or <br /> modifications to or of this Agreement shall be valid unless reduced to writing, signed by <br /> the parties and attached hereto. <br /> 6. GOVERNING LAW <br /> This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of North <br /> Carolina. <br /> 7. NOTICES <br /> Any written communication or notice pursuant to the Agreement shall be <br /> made to the following representatives or the respective parties at the following address: <br /> For the University: William C.
