For more information on eligibility for Electronics Management Program <br /> Funds see this web site:hut)://portalmcdenr.or,web/xvnt/sNv/electronics/locaigov. <br /> Successful applicants seeking grant funds to support electronics recycling projects will be <br /> required to become eligible for Electronics Management Program funding on or before December <br /> 31,2014 as a precondition of receipt of Community Waste Reduction and Recycling Grant finds. <br /> Funding Period: <br /> Grantees must expend funds within one year of contract execution unless the grant contract term is <br /> extended by written agreement between the applicant and the N.C. Department of Environment and <br /> Natural Resources. Extensions are possible but not guaranteed. It is anticipated that grant contracts <br /> resulting from this grant cycle will begin July 1,2014 and end June 30,2015. Any funds expended prior <br /> to the start of the contract will not be reimbursed. <br /> i <br /> Due Date: <br /> Proposals MUST be received by DEACS by 5:00 pan.on Friday.February 21,2014. Any proposals <br /> received after the deadline will not be considered. <br /> Applicants must submit an electronic cony of their proposal by the submittal deadline,preferably in <br /> Microsoft Word format.
