The installation of improvements shall be <br /> done in phases as specified on the construction drawings. <br /> ' This phasing of construction will help limit erosion caused during the <br /> installation of the improvements, and will act as an erosion control <br /> ' measure. <br /> 2, Clearing and Grubbing. The Contractor is to clear the entire width <br /> ' of the permanent easement of trees, stumps, shrubs, and brush. The <br /> natural vegetative cover is to remain intact until the installation of the line <br /> begins, except that which has to be removed during the clearing and <br /> grubbing operation.
