r5. Heavy equipment shall not be operated over any pipe until it has <br /> been properly backfilled and has a minimum cover as required by <br /> ' the plans. Where any part of the required cover is above the <br /> proposed finish grade, the Contractor shall place, maintain, and <br /> finally remove such material at no cost to the Owner. Pipe which <br /> becomes mis-aligned, shows excessive settlement, or has been <br /> otherwise damaged by the Contractor's operations, shall be removed <br /> and replaced by the Contractor at no cost to the Owner. <br /> 6. The Contractor shall maintain all pipes installed in a condition that <br /> they will function continuously from the time the pipe is installed until <br /> ' the project is accepted. <br /> 7. Cleanup: Grade all areas disturbed to a finish ordinarily obtained <br /> from a blade grader with no abrupt changes in grade or irregularities <br /> that will hold water. Prior to final inspection and acceptance, remove <br /> all rubbish and excess material and leave area in a neat, satisfactory <br /> ' condition. <br /> 3.02 QUALITY CONTROL <br /> A.
