' H. Traffic Markings: The Contractor shall repair and restripe any traffic <br /> markings that were damaged, removed- or covered during construction. <br /> ' All work shall be done in accordance with North Carolina Department of <br /> Transportation requirements and specifications. Existing Utilities: All existing manhole and valve covers shall be raised by <br /> ' the Contractor as necessary prior to paving so that the tops of the covers <br /> are flush with the final surface. All of the above work will be subject to thickness and compaction tests as <br /> deemed necessary by the Engineer and conforming to Section 10 of the <br /> ' Superpave Hot Mix Asphalt / Quality Management System of the North <br /> Carolina Department of Transportation Pavement Construction Section. <br /> Such tests will be provided and paid for by the Owner, except that tests <br /> ' which reveal non-conformance with the Specifications and all succeeding <br /> tests for the same area, until conformance with the Specifications is <br /> established, shall be at the expense of the Contractor.
