Fire Hydrant Assembly with Valve and Tee (Bid Item No. 14) <br /> ' The quantity of fire hydrants to be paid will be the actual number of hydrants, <br /> complete with all appurtenances, installed and accepted. Fire hydrant locations <br /> ' are indicated on the plans. <br /> The unit price bid shall include all costs for excavation, hydrant support pads, <br /> ' materials, hydrant leg, hydrant leg gate valve, valve box, tee, backfill and <br /> compaction, restraint and thrust blocking, site restoration, and all related <br /> appurtenances as shown on the Typical Fire Hydrant Assembly Detail. Payment <br /> ' will be made at the unit price bid for the actual number and type of hydrant <br /> installed. <br /> ' Gate Valve and Box (Bid Item No. 15 and 161 <br /> ' The quantity of gate valves to be paid will be the actual number of valves, <br /> complete with all appurtenances, installed and accepted. Gate valves shall be <br /> installed as shown on the drawings. <br /> The unit price bid shall include all costs for excavation, valve support pads, <br /> materials, valve box, backfill and compaction, and site restoration. Payment will <br /> be made at the unit price bid for the actual number and type of valve installed. <br /> ' Temporary Construction Entrance (Bid Item No. 17) <br /> The quantity of Temporary Construction Entrance to be paid for shall be the <br /> number of construction entrances properly installed and accepted. <br /> The quantity of Temporary Construction Entrance shall be paid for at the <br /> ' contract unit price per entrance installed complete, including but not limited to <br /> installation, maintenance, removal and disposal of accumulated silt, and final <br /> removal of construction entrance and restoration of surface. <br /> ' Rev.4129/14 PROJECT#13.01126 01500-Page 7 <br />
