3. The next digits shall be a three digit number (001 — 999) assigned to <br /> sequentially number each submittal. <br /> 4. The last character is a letter, A-Z, indicating the submission, or <br /> resubmission of the same data, i.e., A — 1st submittal, 13- 2nd submittal, <br /> etc. <br /> 5. A typical submittal number would be: <br /> SD-15800-013-A <br /> where: <br /> SD = shop drawing <br /> 15800 = technical specification section 15800 <br /> 013 = contractor's submittal number 013 <br /> A = 1st submittal <br /> F. Deviations: All deviations from the Contract Documents shall be identified on <br /> submittals. <br /> G. Paper and Electronic Copies: Unless additional copies are required for final <br /> submittal, and unless Engineer observes noncompliance with provisions in the <br /> Contract Documents, initial submittal may serve as final submittal. <br /> H. Transmittal: Assemble each submittal individually and appropriately for <br /> transmittal and handling. Engineer will discard submittals received from <br /> sources other than Contractor. <br /> 1. Resubmittals: Make resubmittals in same form and number of copies as initial <br /> submittal. <br /> 1. Note date and content of previous submittal. <br /> 2. Note date and content of revision and clearly indicate extent of revision. <br /> 3. Resubmit submittals until they are marked with approval notation from <br /> Engineer. <br /> J. Distribution: Furnish copies of final submittals to manufacturers, <br /> subcontractors, suppliers, fabricators, installers, authorities having jurisdiction, <br /> and others as necessary for performance of construction activities.
