SECTION 01330 SUBMITTAL PROCEDURES <br /> PART 1 - GENERAL <br /> 1.1 REQUIREMENTS <br /> A. This section specifies the methods and requirements for the submissions <br /> applicable to Shop drawings, Working drawings, Product data, Samples, <br /> Request for substitutions, Test procedures, and Construction and <br /> Submittal schedules. Drawings and general provisions of the Contract, <br /> including General and Supplementary Conditions and other Specification <br /> Sections, apply to this Section. <br /> B. All submittals shall be clearly identified by reference to the Specification <br /> Section, Paragraph, Drawing number, or Detail as applicable. <br /> C. All submittals shall be submitted by the Contractor and the Contractor <br /> shall be solely responsible for the coordination and management of all <br /> submittals. No submittals received directly from material/equipment <br /> suppliers or subcontractors will be accepted unless otherwise agreed <br /> upon by all parties. The engineer's review comments and markup <br /> submittals will be returned to the Contractor who shall promptly coordinate <br /> and return the comments and markup submittals to the appropriate <br /> parties. <br /> D. The Contractor shall submit to the Engineer a detailed submittal schedule <br /> within 30 days of the date of the "Notice to Proceed". <br /> E. The Contractor shall be responsible for the accuracy and completeness of <br /> the information contained in each submittal and shall assure that the <br /> material, equipment, and method of work shall be a described in the <br /> submittal. Submittal documents shall be edited to clearly show only those <br /> items to be included in the contract. All extraneous materials shall be <br /> crossed out or otherwise obliterated. The Contractor shall be solely <br /> responsible for the coordination of submittals so that work will not be <br /> delayed. Different categories of submittals shall be scheduled so that one <br /> will not be delayed for lack of coordination or approval of another.
