ATTACHMENT K <br /> Copeland "Anti-Kickback" Act Provision <br /> As stated in 24 CFR Part 85.36: <br /> All contracts and subgrants for construction or repair shall <br /> include a provision for compliance with the Copeland "Anti- <br /> Kickback" Act(18 USC 874) as supplemented in Department of <br /> Labor regulations (29 CFR,Part 3). This Act provides that <br /> each contractor or subgrantee shall be prohibited from <br /> inducing,by any means, any person employed in the construction, <br /> completion, or repair of public work,to give up any part of <br /> the compensation to which he is otherwise entitled. The <br /> grantee shall report all suspected or reported violations to <br /> the grantor agency. <br /> This material is presented in form HUD-4010 and in the Labor Standards <br /> Handbook 1344.1 Rev. 1.
