Incorporates poetry, prose, and journaling techniques, among others.A free program offered through the Compass Center for Women&Families, Chapel Hill,NC, 2014 • "Zommping for Food&Planet"Expanded, edited and refined preexisting curriculum that educates children on healthy eating, cultural awareness and social justice as well as training on basic cooking and gardening skills. Implemented curriculum in workshops and camps targeting low-income and at-risk children between the ages of 4-8 during school vacations. • "Our Farmworker Friends"Created,presented, and distributed to teach preschoolers about nutrition, food sustainability and farmworkers. Due to demand, 2nd edition expanded to address grades K-12.
