As the <br /> Support Group Coordinator I train and supervise group facilitators, develop and implement <br /> support group curriculum, and provide crisis and supportive counseling to primary and <br /> secondary victims of domestic violence. <br /> Community Services Legal Coordinator, OASIS, Inc. May 2010 to January 2012 <br /> OASIS, Inc. is a non-profit organization serving survivors of domestic violence and sexual <br /> assault in Watauga County, NC since 1978. I coordinated the legal advocacy program and the <br /> volunteer programs in addition to providing direct client services including crisis counseling, <br /> long-term counseling, support group planning and facilitation, medical advocacy, case <br /> management, and court advocacy. As the volunteer coordinator I planned and facilitated <br /> intensive volunteer training programs. My other duties included outreach and education <br /> programs in the community, consultation services to other professionals, supervision of interns, <br /> and attending collaborative meetings with representatives from various community agencies. <br /> Counseling Intern, OASIS, Inc., January 2010 to May 2010. <br /> In this position I provided crisis counseling, long-term counseling, and support group planning <br /> and facilitation. <br /> Counseling Intern, Lees-McRae College, August 2009 to May 2010. <br /> Lees-McRae College is a small liberal arts college in Banner Elk, NC. As counseling intern I <br /> provided individual and group counseling, outreach and education programs, and career services <br /> to students. <br />
